Helmets to Hardhats is not intended to be a typical job board. The goal of the program is to provide opportunities for transitioning veterans to obtain the necessary training in a particular craft in order to have a career in the construction industry. We require that employers posting opportunities participate in proven apprenticeship training programs that are registered and approved by applicable federal and state authorities. In addition, we seek to ensure that transitioning veterans are provided with wages and benefits that allow them to maintain an appropriate standard of living in the community where the position is located.
